You have an idea.  You want to move it to action? Where do you start?

Start by stepping back to reflect on what the idea means to you and what motivates you about it. What is at stake for you ?  How much time are you willing to put into it and what other activity will have to be on hold.   Once you have clarity on the above, you are ready to move to Goal Setting.

Make your Goal very clear. Use SMART to formulate your it and ensure that it actually gets reached.

Determine indicators that will tell you that you are on the right path.

How about when you are off track? Make sure you have some mechanism to keep you from going off track.

Make sure you have a solid plan that is staked in a way that makes sense to you.  So, make it weekly until you reach your Goal or make it monthly … it all depends on the scope of your Goal.

As you go along your project and work towards your goal, make sure you have the support needed to help you in thinking, in strategising, in getting clarity and anything else you need.

Keep yourself inspired and motivated. Celebrate milestones as they come along.
